Parmak solar fence charger battery connections

I cant find which wire lead is positive or negative. The wires are white and black. All info I can find describes red and black where red is obviously positive. One connecter is wider but I don’t have the old battery to compare

anyone with a parmak 6 volt battery care to check which terminal is wide vs skinny?

I believe you need to verify your charger’s voltage… there are color codes for wiring and black and white impute power leads are normally used only on AC units… Black being Load (Hot) and White (or gray) Neutral

There is a model number on the charger… run a google search on that model number …and contact the manufacturer to make sure

if it is really a DC unit then it appears to be a positive ground system rather than a negative ground which normally used Red and Black leads
