I’m looking for pasture boarding for my 3 ponies. Absolutely must be pasture board since my 2 minis aren’t used to a stall and my senior pony cannot be stalled for many reasons. I’d like to keep them together since they’re used to living together and are only divided for feeding.
Must haves are:
-horse people who are calm & centered & experienced with previously abused horses
Not going to go into my pony’s history but it was bad & she has definite opinions about people she doesn’t like at all anymore. She’s been boarded in the past & has only been a problem when stalled. She’s also been fine with farm sitters but is definitely better for people she likes. She is both way too smart and way too opinionated. I would of course provide detailed information on what her issues are and how to handle them.
-pasture & run in that the 3 of them can share with mini-proof fencing
-feed what I provide only & no grain/hard feed (due to health issues…allergies & normal pony stuff)
-quiet & no drama
The ideal would be a small private farm with enough room to take my ponies for a month or two while I get settled. I’ve done my own searching thus far & have only come up with stall board.
