A French competition dominated in numbers by British combinations. It is good to see the depth and strength currently being developed by the Irish: I’ve been impressed by them over this past UK season. The French take a very strategic approach to developing their team riders which might explain the surprisingly low number competing at their own 5*. Two American riders with three horses. Overall, 60 athletes, 66 horses, 14 nations which makes Maryland look even more sparse.
Totally agree with you about the Irish!

According to the master list, 66 riders and 80 horses. Probably not final though.
