PAU 5* has started!

For those interested in keeping up from across the pond:
https://www.event-pau.com/

And of course, extensive coverage on EN.

Anybody having trouble accessing the H&C live stream? I have signed up & paid and still can’t get on. Waiting to hear back from H&C customer support.

I finally figured it out

I signed up with them several times in the past and ALWAYS had trouble. I Might sign up next year but with this being the last of the year, I am giving it a miss.

Tazzie, could you please share - I’m also not getting anything. Thought it might be a time thing? TIA

Since they’re not up on the Pau website yet, live scoring here: https://results.worldsporttiming.com/event/69

Anyone else surprised by the small number of entries? Only 1 US rider and I don’t think I saw any from Germany.

Thank you, was so annoyed hahaha

Try this link : https://app.horseandcountry.tv/series/new-series-04102021113406-les-etoiles-de-pau-2021-eventing-english

I’m getting the 404 message whatever method I try. I have a message into their customer service, fingers crossed.

Same here (in France).
Sent them multiple messages which they replied to with links that didn’t work.
Hope they get it fixed for tomorrow… I’m a gold member and had to watch it on FB.

If not fixed, use the FB page off the Pau link I posted above.

End of season. Tokyo + European championships on same year.
Only the Brits can pull 21 entries at the last 5* in the season…
Lots of rookies, which is great!
Who needs the Germans?

Some new horses as well. Or ones that I haven’t heard of at least :joy:

Pau 5* course walk! https://app.crosscountryapp.com/pau/5-u8cl?base=satellite

I can’t say I’ve ever really been a fan of Pierre Michelet courses. Like, we do we need to have a corner right in front of the water?

Fence 17 looks like it might be hard for the horses to read

Fence 12 B, a corner looks very narrow in the photograph. Maybe on the ground it isn’t so bad but it looks like a fence deliberately set to make a horse fail. That pesky white flag thing.

I agree that 17 might be hard for a horse to read.

Best wishes for Izzy Taylor… I saw the end of the fall and now they are holding on course.

Horse walked away.

How is 17 riding? I’m sadly mobile today, no chance to watch.

Nobody has had problems at 17. I think 27B has been the most problematic.
