It was apparently extremely soggy on top but the ground underneath remained solid so the horses didn’t slip or slide. Many jumps (especially on the man-made mounds) were taken out and the distance shortened. It was a real test of riding by feel! The horses ended up very happy the next day at the jog.

I definitely saw some slipping. One poor guy near the end of the day had a slip between the A and B elements of a combination, and made the 100% correct horsemanship choice in not even presenting his horse to B.
