Yes, usually you do it, see how long it takes you on average, divide that into whatever minimum wage is in your area. Example it takes you one hour to clean/bed 4 stalls and wages are $10/hr so $2.50 per stall. Make sense?
Yes. Though if the only turnout the horses get it while their stall is being done, the smart workers will crank up and get their work done quick, making the turnout time minimal.
Perhaps pay per stall, but with X time minimum in turnout.
Thanks all! Ive always figured 15 min a stall - tho some are easier and others a nightmare it averages out in the end. Horses are out all day for the most part so turnout time would not be a factor!
