PDJF denies benefits.

Heartbreaking, but can any non-profit take on the enormity of some these racing health issues? So few of the active jockeys earn enough to prepare for the residual deleterious health issues they face upon retirement.

Heartbreaking, for sure.

What really pisses me off is the National HBPA giving Murray Rojas $1 million for legal defense. It’s criminal that they are doing that when there are horsemen who have done nothing wrong and are suffering.

Totally agree, particularly as it relates to the HBPA. Can’t recall when I have read a turf article that wasn’t portraying it as a scandolous, corrupt, and greedy organization.

Maybe if the HBPA did something to help the truly needy horse people, their reputation would improve.

Here is a recent example of rogue HBPA efforts.

Ugh Shammy the demise of the racing industry is partly due to the different factions always at each others throats.

Not partly. Solely.

@Shammy Davis G’Mornin’!!

Have a great day.
