I spy a hedgehog toy in that last peep! that brought a smile to my face, as I had a dog who wouldn’t play with any other toy in her entire life but that kind of hedgehog.

That is the Christmas Hedgehog and he’s pretty popular at the house this time of year! I have another friend whose dog would also only play with hedgehog toys so maybe that’s a real thing ?

Re: the hedgehog toys. Absolutely my dogs’ favorites, followed by the grunty pigs. When the younger dog was still puppyish, the cure for any bad day was to present her with a new hedgehog.

At least she’s nice enough to not completely block the register.
My cats used to lay directly on the registers so very little heat got out into the room.
I got even by moving to a house with radiators!

Or have a space heater and have all the cats sitting in front of it blocking all the heat. And sitting so close their eyes dry out and you can hear them blinking “click click click.”
