Everyone root for Touchdown, going 9th in the order. He used to belong to a friend of mine in college and is one of the coolest ponies out there!

If i see one more kid smacking there pony on the shoulder before every jump i am going to scream!!

Just out of curiosity, how many times can you lay a stick on the pony’s neck before the stewards say something about it? I give the rider tons of credit for getting the pony around when it wanted to be sticky, but using a stick on the neck six+ times doesn’t look so great!

Aww boo, he had a rail…looked a little spooky.

A little surprised that the girl who fell off just strolled out without even looking back at the pony just standing there

I was thinking the same thing! Looks like it hurt, she limped for two steps & looked fine… then didnt even bother to get her pony

That made me mad…you can walk out, you can lead your pony.

How about the little spotted pony being squawked at off the ground at every jump! Cute pony, but some strange, strange noises!

I was thinking the same thing…I would have been fussing about wanting to get to my pony to make sure they’re ok.

A well timed tap before the jump can be a useful reinforcement of your leg, especially at a final where the ponies are bound to be a little more distracted than usual.

You’d probably do better to give a smack behind the leg at one or two jumps than one at the shoulder at every.single.jump.

I hate to be picking on little kids, but I do think these gals need to lose the whips. And work and being tighter in the tack , before they try and ride for speed.

Ah, that I do agree with for the most part. I thought you were referring to all use of the crop, not just on the shoulder. Who knows though, maybe they were afraid their pony would run out if they have them a tap behind their leg.

Brianne has to be one of my favorite riders to watch. I also see a lot of mares showing tonight!

AGREED!!! The stewards need to take a walk down and have a word with a bunch of trainers. I’m pretty sure I saw some rein slapping happen, too. Clearly these ladies have been taught that is a-okay. Their trainers are doing them no favors when it’s time to move up to big horses and big jumps. Clearly ground work escapes the training program for most of the pony jumpers?

And that med pony was a SAINT.

What happened to Antares F?

The show jumpers barrel racing…

Of course Meagan Nusz is going to make it—she is a Texas girl, after all.

This is so entertaining!

this Canadian Cowgirls riding with flags is so freaking boring like watching paint dry Much rather watch gaited or barrel racing!!!
Y A W NNNNNNNN
