I saw a cute little video clip of an interview with her about Walk the Line after the junior hunters. She very nicely gave all the credit to the horse. Props to her. :)
She is such a sweet girl. She truly LOVES her horses and knows how lucky she is to ride every single one of them. Reminds me of Jen Waxman’s attitude. Lillie has a great future ahead of her!

I’m so glad to see pony riders in jodphurs instead of tall boots, which seemed to be all the rage for a while.

I’m really enjoying the feed, it’s fabulous this year.

Ahh camera man, wake up! Large ponies are going and we’re missing them :frowning:

Can someone please explain to me why some of these larges, who are putting in solid rounds, are getting such poor scores?

I’ve seen several who hesitated quite hard off the ground, especially at the in and out.

Have to say that I was pleased to see the girl who rides King Midas get him around - he looked like he didn’t really want to play and she stuck with it!

Orders posted yet for Medal schooling this afternoon and tomorrow?

I don’t see them up yet on Ryegate, but iEquitate knows when she’s going so maybe they are available at the show and just not online yet.

Alittle late to the party, but I’m enjoying the pony handy rounds video…does anyone here know what the course asked for at the end? They all seem to be trying to pull pony up to walk out from the last in and out, but alot are blasting past the open gate and they look disorganized on their exit.

I doubt it was specified on the course, but usually if the course ends near the gate, it shows more handiness for that class to exit without making a circle at the end, in the same way it shows more handiness to go directly to the first jump without an opening circle.

As always, some pull it off better than others.

Hey MHM - do you have a link to the interview /w Lillie and Walk the Line?

Looking forward to the Medal tomorrow! I love how USEF Network is posting individual rounds so quickly on YouTube. That will be awesome for a westcoaster like me tomorrow morning: I’ll be able to catch up on some top rides after I get up. No way I’m getting up at 4am to watch

Orders are not up anywhere yet, there was a rider’s meeting this morning in which they drew the numbers. I go either 125 or 126 (they called me as 125 but my number says 126). Schooling sections are based on order of go (58 per section) but I don’t believe the order is the exact same as tomorrow.

Good luck iEquitate! Love your blog entries!

these junior jumpers are getting tired! i think even victoria arute was surprised that her horse kept going through that combination. what a cool horse. he tried so hard!!!

They both did a good job getting through that! That last one looked like it will hurt later.

agreed! quite the classy pair.

I agree, a bunch of the junior jumpers looked tired. Victoria Arute’s horse just keeps going! So many cool horses, interesting class.

Anyone else finding that the order of go on ryegate.com does not match up with the actual schooling class on the live feed? Is the real order of go anywhere?
I KNOW! Awesome groom job! Obviously some great nutrition there too! One healthy pony!
Can’t wait for the Junior Jumpers to go :D
He looked just as amazing in real life! Need to know their secrets!

So funny, but did anyone else notice that the horse who just went had a split ear? Reminds me of an old tomcat!
