I am starting the search for a new saddle. I have a great fitter locally, but won’t be able to have her out until post pandemic life, so I have been window shopping online. I’m looking at around $2k budget and have been leaning towards a used County or Black Country or something else wool flocked. The horse in question is a 7 year old OTTB who I expect to fill in a bit more in the next couple years, so I want the adjustability of wool. I came across Phoenix Saddlery’s website and was intrigued. The price for semi custom options is nice, but it is low enough I wonder what the quality is. Does anyone have experience with them?
