Pikeur sizing?

Does anyone know if the jackets run true to size? Are all the different models similar in sizes? I wear a 12R in RJ classics. So would a 12 be fine for Pikeur or should I go higher? lower?

I don’t have any tack shops near me that carry the brand so it’s going to be some trial and error with mail ordering them.

Also, Dover says that a 44 is equal to a US 12 but Smartpak and Amiraequi both say that a 40 is a 12. I’m leaning towards believing Smartpak and Amira as Dover had the Animo converted sizes ridiculously screwed up.

No idea on the jackets sorry - can you find actual measurements somewhere?

I’d like to know if their breeches are still the same size? I have a few pairs, bought a number of years ago, that fit me really well. I bought a winter weight pair recently and they are much bigger (though still marked the same). Do the winter ones run bigger? Have they changed their sizing?

RJ classics run fairly true to size, most other show coats tell you to go up 2-3 sizes, so I’d probably try at least a 16 in a Pikeur.

Pikeur jackets run about 4 sizes small, so if you normally wear a US women’s size 12 you should try on a size 8.

It would be best to purchase somewhere with a return policy just in case, or try one on at your local retailer before ordering if you are going to do so from Amira.

This is correct. A Pikeur size 12 (size 40) fits like a normal US size 8. And a Pikeur 12 fits like a Grand Prix 14, if that helps.
