I’ve been out of the competition loop for a while, and am only just getting around to buying a pinney holder or number holder or whatever it’s called - you know what I mean! Any tips on where to find a good one in custom colors? These look pretty nice - https://equi-prism.com/pinny-holder/ - but I know nothing about them, or if there are better alternatives. And no, smart alecks, duct taping a baggie to my vest is not on the list. hahaha - I already thought of that.

I’ve admired the equi prism pinneys, too. i ordered my custom pinney from a woman in Area V who makes them–Amanda Leigh Glass. You can find her on FB, if you’re interested.
For non custom, I dont recommend the smart pak brand. I got one and i wasnt happy with it. My husband has a different one that he loves a lot, i will look and see what brand it is tomorrow.
I like the one from Shires. I got one from Bit of Britain that I would not recommend.
I second this - I have one from SmartPak and hate it. It doesn’t fit the numbers nicely. Like … they know the dimensions of a piece of paper, I don’t understand why they couldn’t make it fit appropriately. Also the straps suck.

I have an EquiPrism pinny holder, it’s very nice! I also splurged and got some bucket straps and a neck strap that are also quite nice. And very matchy-matchy.
I have an EquiPrism and it’s gorgeous! She sent me all kinds of combos to decide from. Haven’t worn it yet, but it seems really high quality and well made. I want some more things from her.

Just FYI…the Shires brand one is for A4 paper, so you have to fold the paper on the long edge to get it in.
I’ve been eyeballing the equiprism ones… I just “earned” myself an ecogold xc pad, so now we need to “earn” a custom pinney holder. I’d stay away from the Ovation ones. It’s done its cheapie job, but more than once, I’ve gotten tangled and stuck in it.
Finally got around to ordering - went with Equiprism and can’t recommend her highly enough! She did a beautiful job and fast, even though I told her no rush. I also splurged on an armband and am kicking myself for not doing it years ago. Not only perfect colors but SO much comfier than the USEA ones. Five stars!
