Has anyone seen or ridden in these?

In the market for some field boots and came across these… I like the looks of them but the price seems a bit too good to be true and I can’t find any reviews.

Clearly no one has tried these out yet… So I’ve decided to bite the bullet and be the guinea pig I’ve been emailing with a rep because they don’t currently have to option to ship to the US in their online ordering system. He’s been super responsive and helpful so I’m hopeful the quality of their boots equals that of their customer service. When I get them I’ll post an update - fingers crossed that they’re as pretty in person as they are in the photos!
Haven’t heard of these before, but they do look pretty! Would love to hear what you think of them once you do get them. Maybe review them and compare to some other well known boots?
I love ordering obscure things that people haven’t really tested yet. Sometimes it can be a waste of money, but sometimes you find the inexpensive gem.
I want the brown crocodile print dress boots…

I need some field boots for my new endeavor in the hunter world… But if these are nice you better believe those crocodile boots will be on my Christmas list… In brown :D:yes:
Just wanted to update - got my boots last night!!! I absolutely love them. Even with shipping from Italy they were cheaper than my off the rack Ariats and they fit like butter. Takes 4 - 5 weeks to get them but absolutely worth the wait IMO.
Pictures for good measure

They look beautiful! Let us know how they hold up
Very nice! Which model are they? What was the total price you paid including shipping?

Mine were Model 02008-C I believe. Total was 287 EUR with shipping.
I’ve warned my family that I’ve now got the brown crocodile pair on my Christmas list for the dressage ring
Roughly $330 USD. Not bad, eh? I saw those crocodile boots, too! Too bad they don’t have stiffening options. You should get them and let us know how they are!
Wait. Roughly $330 USD for Italian leather boots? Did I miss something here??? What’s the catch? No WAY these are custom…right?

Yup! They’re not custom but mine fit like a glove so for me, they might as well be.
Ohh I am getting some new boots!!
I have found Pioneer boots online here in the U.S. at https://europeanhorsetack.com. While they are priced higher than what you bought them for back in 2009; they are still a super good deal. They have standard models in a variety of sizes, and fully-custom type boots. I didn’t need a custom Job because I was able to fit their standard model as far as size. Their rep was very knowledgeable and was able to give me a lot of options to choose from. I got mine for $427.95, with shipping and handling included. I asked for medium stiffness because show in dressage, and I like a little more hold (not completely stiff). And they are gorgeous!!! Like my DeNiro’s but at half the price!
Me too, and would NEVER wear them to the barn!!!
Very interesting. At some point I will be in the market for some new boots. RedmondDressage, what was the fit like? Do they run big or small? I am a size 10 and chart online says euro is 41/42.
Yeah I’m curious how these are holding up as well
Mine are holding up great so far! They are my show boots, and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them.
I wear a 7.5 and got a 38 that was perfect. I was told that if you wear a 1/2 size it’s better to go to the next size up.
On the calf they size smaller, but I got a size that fit me just fine.
Their size chart is pretty accurate.
I was looking at their paddock boots, and they look really nice.
I can’t quite talk myself into buying a pair at the moment, as long as my Ariats are still holding up.
Just saw this Mine are holding up fabulous since I got them, which was a bit over a year ago. Mine fit like a glove - I measured and remeasured based off of their sizing chart before ordering and they were sized exactly as I expected. They were a tiny bit tight and a tiny bit tall when I got them, which I did on purpose as they are really nice soft leather - not stiff like my Konigs. Since they’re soft they will stretch and drop a bit more than the stiffer boots. I actually only wear my Konigs as shows now - I wear my pioneers every day because they are so dang comfortable. I would/will definitely get another pair.
