Pipe Peddler Thoroughbred

Pipe Peddler was a TB stallion that last stood in Franklin, Tennessee; he apparently died in 2008, age 24. My SO is lease-purchasing one of his offspring, who is showing excellent potential as an event horse. Majestic Prince sireline, Caro and My Babu from the dam.

Anyone else have any experience with his offspring? Just trying to compare notes; PM me if you prefer.

AND Princess Camelia through Irvana in tail female. Take at look at Princess Camelia’s sire. Dam line is quite wonderful.

I remember a few from at least a decade ago. Particularly good canters on them.

There is your Le Sancy

Pipe Peddler was an exceptionally nice stallion. We saw him when we went to Tennessee looking for a stallion prospect. Big and impressive with a kind disposition, all of which seemed to get passed along to his offspring. We ended up bringing home a colt by him, who is now one our farm stallions. Photos of him can be seen at www.gryphonskeepfarm.com. His name is Peddler’s Moonshine (aka “Draco”). Amazing work ethic, great athletic ability and an unbeatable temperament . . . took our farrier a couple of visits before he realized he was a stallion. So, speaking from my own experience with the bloodline, I’ve been VERY pleased with it.

Oh, and I have to agree with the other post . . . an absolutely phenomenal canter!

Sonya – this is uncanny – who was his dam?

The girl we have could easily be (and probably is) his full sister – her dam was Moon Painted Me – paint racing stock with a lot of TB.

She just finished fourth in her second Preliminary at Pine Top last weekend. She’s not been under saddle all that long, so the dressage is still coming, but she oozes talent.

I will PM you my contact information – we’d love to talk further.

Very late post on your thread, but I also have a colt out of Pipe Peddler, and agree with the wonderful temperment and fantastic canter. It’s wonderful to see others out of Pipe.

This is my guy, Thunder.
