Pittsburgh People -- tell me about riding in South Park

Can anyone tell me about hauling in to ride in South Park? I’ve looked at the park maps and I see plenty of trails but I’m having a hard time figuring out where trailer parking is.

I’m also wondering if there are any particular rules there with regards to horses. The only one I saw was that horses have to stay on designated trails.

I’m being lazy and only did a quick search here and didn’t find any old threads, but if someone remembers one let me know.

I used to live next to South Park and would just ride out from the house… I think you can park in any parking lot, there is a huge one at the end of the park by the police mounted patrol… but its been a while since Ive been there.
