We’ve already talked to the OP privately, but for information’s sake, we don’t delete accounts upon request, to preserve the site’s posting history.

We’re generally happy to change usernames, and for that, please just contact me directly.

If someone is no longer interested in participating in the site, an account’s privacey settings, etc. can be modified via the “User CP” from the left side of the blue bar near the top of the page. Before leaving, you can be sure that your account is set to not receive emails or PMs from other users or administrators, for example.
