It sounds like your screen view is not typical, so I’m not sure what’s going on there…

It just locked up AGAIN, after I had been here several minutes.
I cleared cookies on my computer. I’m not doing that again because I had to go back and re-log into every other website, all of which are working just fine and not giving me any problems.
The problem is COTH. It is not my computer.
Please FIX it!

It started off freezing this morning, but I choose the 'wait" option over the ‘kill’ option, and since then, it appears to have sorted itself out for the rest of today. Often the wait doesn’t work, though, and I just close Chrome completely and start anew a couple minutes later.
The first time it happened I did clear my cookies, but that wasn’t the problem, obviously.

Presumably, since after all it is a free website, for which we don’t have to pay, our problems don’t matter to anyone but us.
I don’t know if COTH is still offering paid memberships. I’m only glad I never paid good money for one.
It is a ridiculous waste of everyone’s time for COTH to keep asking us about our computers, our operating systems, our cookies, etc.
It isn’t us or our computers or anything to do with them. It’s COTH and this crappy website they changed to.
Did you read the posts above what you just posted?
Not everyone is having the issues you are claiming to have so they (the people who fix things) can not even guess where to start on your problems if they do not ask all those questions you are refusing to answer.
If it was just COTH then we would all be having the same issue(s).
COTH does not offer paid membership anymore (that is covered in some of these threads here).
Clearing your history doesn’t clear cookies.
I appreciate the frustration you must be feeling, but there are a lot of moving parts to consider on both our end and the users’ ends.
You’ve said you’re using Chrome as your browser. Do you also have McAfee virus protection on your computer?
I found a recent thread from Google’s help forum where users are reporting similar issues with Chrome freezing. Some users have reported success with adjusting their settings in McAfee, which I can help you check if you have that installed.

I’m running Chrome as you know, but with BitDefender virus protection
It was really bad this morning, but I did finally install an ad blocker (AdGuard) so we’ll give it a bit of time before I declare it cured
I have had zero issues with the funcationality, the pages load just fine. My issues are more moderation practices stemming form overloaded COTH staff due to the way the new system operates with it’s current performance level and the lack of response when I tried to ask questions directly to the mods.
Not the topic to complain about mods.
Anyways, in the last two days I have experienced the blank white page that won’t load anything or will load the top half of a page and then freeze up and not load anymore. Using chrome. I just copy and paste the URL into another tab and close the current tab and it doesn’t seem to have any issues loading that second tab.
The tech crew is looking into the issues reported here and in other threads. Thanks for your patience!

Ever since I installed the adblocker, the 'First new post" and ‘Last post’ buttons have both worked. CoTH is back as good as new- yippee!
