Hello all! I was recently selected as a finalist in a sponsorship contest. The final challenge is to win the popular vote - which I am currently in last place. I am posting here to ask for your help - and I’m here to tell you why you should vote for me. I haven’t posted much here in a while due to extremely unfortunate circumstances concerning my horse. In January of this year she went inexplicably lame. In February she had surgery to remove bone lysis (infection) from her front right coffin bone. Her recovery was a long one, as well as expensive, and even after doing everything in my power the vet was not certain she would be sound for regular riding or even jumping. Since then she has come back 100% with corrective shoeing and supplements. Because of all of this we have racked up quite the amount in vet bills, which we are still paying off. I have never asked for help with these bills and will not as it is part of owning a horse. Because of these bills we have been unable to compete outside of one show hosted by my barn and one show hosted by my school. Both were closed schooling shows. My mare is extremely talented, and I would love a chance to showcase our talents together through showing (I have trained her myself from the beginning). This Sponsorship, however, is something that anyone can help me with for free and it will take a matter of seconds. This sponsorship means I will have the opportunity to advance in my riding and show off all of our hard work, which I may not have otherwise.
