Why would you not get the pony. Getting out of your comfort zone is good! Says the person who just bought a three year old…though not a pony.

I freely admit eyeballing my sturdy 13H Hackney Pony & considering throwing a leg over… but wisely decline as he is 18 & never broke to ride & I am 68 & do not Bounce anymore.

Be careful. I got a cow pony. Just when I started getting people interested in her, now I loff her and can’t part with her…so now Cowpony is staying while I am sure she could sell easily. With my luck, she will go lame in a month and be on the dole for 15 years…

I’m so jealous!! I’ve been obsessed with the idea of getting (or breeding my mare to get) a pony!! Is she a welsh cob? There is one not too far away here that i’m Tempted to look at!
She’s by a Section C Welsh stallion out of a TB mare.
Go try the cob! You never know. My plan was to only buy this one if riding her made me smile, and it did. Total change of pace from my last mount, a super-powerful 18 hh Grand Prix dressage horse. Lol!
