Plight of the peeps...

Are you not a fan of Peep-ocide?

I think YOU should be the one who should be afraid, my dear!

by dipping them in melted chocolate. That silences their cries

It took me TWO HOURS to clean the PEEPfest out of my trunk.

All the other boarders are enjoying the candy that was buried in the mountains of Easter grass…

A couple of PEEPs were consumed by the younger boarders. No PEEP torture was involved - their deaths were quick.

The remaining PEEPs have been relegated to a corner of my trunk - their future is uncertain. Perhaps they will become show PEEPs.

Oh they are delicious. I have a stash of them for when my energy supplies run low I’d be happy to ship some to a some of you deprived canadians if you ask really nicely…just email me-I’m always happy to share my sweet, sweet peeps

AWW! Poor things! Is that pink blob on the horses’s nose its’ HEAD?? awww… omg…hahaha

“If the world was a logical place, men would ride side saddle.”- I have no clue

What do you mean I need an intervention? Just because the peeps and I are skipping (well, in their case, sort of hopping) down the chocolate-brick road toward the waterfall of Dr. Pepper, stopping enroute to converse with the Easter Bunny and the Ghost of Hallowe’en Candy Past doesn’t mean I have a problem.

You’re the ones with the problem!!!

That laugh was just what I needed.

I am 270 pages into my new book and there is NO DEAD BODY yet. Not even a dead peep.

I hate it when that happens, but somehow watching all these peeps come to a sad and sorry end is making me feel much better.

Thank you for making me laugh so hard, hobson!

First of all, who rated this topic a 2? Please. It certainly deserves at least a 4.

I downloaded the Peep screen saver so I can be easily entertained everytime I leave my computer alone for two minutes. My cat seems especially fond of the dancing Peep shapes… should I be concerned?

Just when we have been thinking of how mature, supportive and responsible we have been!

Erin lets us loose and I am reminded of a similar, not quite so intense, situation where our wonderful group began to self destruct and we were directed into joyous hilarity which enabled us to all appreciate the best of each other once again.

Thanks again, COTH, thanks much, moderators. Erin, you will be a great mom but I won’t be the one to curse you with that!

Damn whoever posted this…I am CRAVING those things now…guess I will have to make a run to the QuikE Mart during lunch to get some! They are the best!

I am also partial to the peanut butter eggs

lots of fresh air & other stale snack items to talk to & play with . . . .

they age quickly, the chocolate turns white and peep senility sets in.

Use ganache instead and gobble them up! ;

Here is the original peeps thread.

Since I am an avowed peeparian (that would be a non-peep-eater … which would make me – drumroll, please! – PEEP-LESS!!), I will happily donate any peeps I might inadvertently receive to those who wish it. I will even pay the postage just to get those icky sticky creatures out of my house and life. ICK!!

try putting a peep in the micro.

The saddlebreds issue is sad and deserving of attention, but referring to people as “peeps” (those sugary marshmallow easter things?) and haranguing them at the same time is not the best motivational strategy.

I envision a horsey peeps-fest on Easter Sunday! Let’s all feed a peep or two to our horses, take photos and post them! I wonder if my princely bay beast will eat a peep?

How much peeps would a bay beast feast
If a bay beast would feast peeps?

Time to take my medicine again…

first, thanks MargaretF - you said it well…

Second, never mind PETA, what about PETP? I think we may have some serious issues here, with the up and coming peepocide that is Easter…

(I agree, after letting 'em get stale, microwaving is the next best thing!)
