Why can’t I send a PM anymore? Just now I tried to. I clicked on the person’s name in their post in a thread, just as I always do to send a PM, but although I was taken to their link, there was no provision for sending a PM.
I realize it’s just another in a long list of COTH malfunctions, but I would really like to send an occasional PM.
So, what is the new way to do it? Or, alternatively, when will this problem be fixed?
There is nothing malfunctioning about private messaging.
See the little talk bubble next to my name to the left? Click it. Tada, you’re sending a PM!
See “Messages” in the top bar, to the left of “notifications” and to the right of “RPM”? Click it. Select “Send New Message” from the list. Tada, it’s another way to send a PM!
It is possible for individual users to turn off the option to PM them. So perhaps the person you are trying to PM has done that.
