I’m an avid listener of the Horses in the Morning podcast, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I co-host the monthly foxhunting episode on that podcast the third Thursday of every month. The other regular monthly episodes you might like are the Pro Equine Grooms episode which is the 4th Thursday and the Jumping episode on the first Tuesday (but this one may be on hiatus as the host has been unwell).
I also really like Stall and Stable, which is about owning your own barn. More in having your horses at home rather than running a training barn. Turnout is good if you are at all into OTTBs, the host writes the Yankee in Paris blog. There is another called A Time for Horses that are historical stories about horses. The episodes are good, but she’s not put anything new out in over a year. The Sergeant Reckless episodes were SO GOOD. I enjoy the Practical Horseman and Heels Down Happy Hour podcasts, too.
I didn’t love Amateur Hour after listening to a few episodes. Granted the hosts don’t present themselves as professionals, but they talk about things that they really don’t know much about and I found it to be frustrating.
