A friend and I just went on our first poker ride and we are anxious to do more! We had so much fun trail riding in a relaxed environment with a large group of people - even though most riders stayed in their small groups of 2-5. There was a lunch provided and the best hands won prizes!
Soooooo, now we are hooked and hoping to find more rides that are similar! Does anyone on here know of any poker rides in the northern/central California area?
Wrong coast, but if you liked a poker ride you’ll probably like scrabble rides and maybe trivia rides, too–something to expand your search!
Also look for hunter paces; they are as relaxed or as "spirited"as you want them to be. 
I haven’t heard of any in my area but it sounds like fun! I really enjoy mixing up Endurance and Trail Riding, it’s fun to be competitive but it’s also fun to be social and ride for pleasure.
