Yes, I’m almost positive that’s right.

Melzy,

Thank you!! For the last several months I’vebeen trying to remember Jackie’s last name!! I wanted to say Frakes but I knew that was the wrong Jackie.

Jordache one of the Baker girls, Rachel I think,
or was it Brett Kligerman? Sorry names are escaping along with the grey cells…

I remember Buttons & Bows when she was Farnley Reflections & before that Llandefalle Reflections. When she became Buttons she was owned by Lauren Murphy, who rode with Mindy. I think in her green year(when she was a medium) the owner might have been Jen Emmit. One of the Conway girls rode Disco Duck(bay w/lots of white), and Laurie Occhipinti was The Hobbit’s rider when he began showing in the US. Originally came from Canada, I believe. Laura Gorman used to show Sand Castle against me in the mediums in 1983, or close to it. Anybody have pics of any of these great ponies? Sure would bring back memories!!

My favorite pony of all times, naturally, was mine- Woodland’s Shropshire Lad. But, my second favorite was his look-alike brother, Woodland’s First Ballot. Ballot was much fancier than mine, but standing side by side, there was no doubt they were brothers.

LOVE FROSTY PICTURES!

How CUTE!

Constance (TT) Howell had him and won a bunch before Sheila Motley

I remember another large palomino from the 80’s called Plain & Fancy. Is that the one you’re referring to? I’m a Zone 2 old timer.

The last time I saw Catherine show Sport was during the Music City Grand Prix where he said NO WAY at the water jump so Catherine took a solo dive!

MKM, I remember Sport now. I didn’t realize he was the same Sport that Ann Crain has now. Last summer she was doing the mini-prixs and from what I saw she was doing really well. He’s really cute, and really fast. I haven’t seen him this year though. One of my really good friends works with Ann, and I’ll ask her to ask Ann how he is doing.

The Ziff’s were from Texas, the father was a developer. David would be in his late 20’s now.
The dad started what is now known as “Commonwealth Park” in Culpeper, Va. It was called “Showday” at that time (the 80’s).
Alot of shenanigans went on at that year at Harrisburg.
Our pony also was unable to show due to circumstances of a “suspicious” nature.
