Pony sales barns?

I am looking for someplace to send my veey cute 11.3 h 8 y/o pony mare. She has been leased out and in a lesson/local show program for 2 years now, and I have no small kids riding or time to play with her. I thought about sending her out on a care lease while still for sale, and the trainer would get a commission if she sells while there. Or just a straight sales barn, if there are any good ones in the ohio/kentucky area. Pony is a poles/crossrails dream, jumps up to 2 feet, has taught a million kids to canter on and off lunge, nicely forward but safe. She has simple changes, will finish flying very quickly once someone spends a month working it. I will keep her and finish her/get her a rated show record if i need to, but it would be awesome to let somebody else deal with it so I don’t have to drag her around the country all winter to shows I don’t ordinarily go to. (We are dressage and jumpers lol.) Any ideas would be appreciated, thx!!!

I don’t have a personal recommendation but you might want to flip through the pony issue of the Plaid Horse… lots of articles/ads on pony programs you could reach out to. There’s a barn on page 2 with locations in KY and OH. Also, plenty of barns not local to Ohio are probably spending the winter at WEC which could simplify things for you!

If you’re not wed to it being Ohio/KY, try Olivia Golden in Pa. they often turn cute ponies and her daughter is a strong little rider!
