Poopf Does it work?

Has anyone used Poopf, the deodorizer advertised on TV? My husky mix, Toby, loves to swim in the pond and bayou and play in the water in the ditches. Then he has terrible wet dog odor that lingers. It’s not practical to bathe him every time he gets wet so I’m looking for some sort of deodorizer I can spray o. Him.

I just watched this review of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9a0rrn_uzo

I think it would work on fabrics, but not sure how you could actually get it to work on a dog unless you bathed him in it.

My dogs swim and eventually will stink; so they get a regular bath but not every time they swim. They are not double coated breeds, though, so they dry pretty well. My oldest has a fluffy/cottony coat that dries more slowly so he’s the stinkiest of them

For a husky - #1 would be to use an undercoat rake to at least eliminate any loose undercoat that may trap the water/smell. I’d probably also add a full bath every other week or so. I don’t think anything will really fix the smell if it doesn’t get through the undercoat to the skin like a full bath. Maybe if you comb it through carefully you’ll get some of it. But spritzing the top coat won’t do anything, in my opinion.

Can you rinse the puddle/bayou water off of him before it dries, so he at least has clean water on him?
