This would 110% be my horse

Has anyone done a smalled trough with a hay net? I was think about one of the round muck buckets with a net over top. I’m sure I’m not the first person to think of that.

So a happy ending . . . I was putting the lid in upside down. I fixed that, anchored it to the wall per the company’s instructions (4 inches above the handle, no straps across front), and she seems to have accepted it. I’m not going to say that she likes it yet, and I think it might be a bit of a pain for the staff at my boarding facility (who are pretty tolerant and accomodating), but my mare is now 1) stretching down to eat, and not trying to literally ripe her haynet out of the wall 2) not wasting hay 3) going through hay a little less quickly (she likes to chew a hole in her haynets so that you put the hay straight in and it drops right out . . . yeah).

So, read the instructions people (face-palm).
