Possible double billing?

Not sure if my Paypal account is right or not…it has me down as being billed on 3/31 for my Premium membership and then again on 4/2…

Not trying to create a fuss and if I’m paid up for 2 years that’s fine… I just want to make sure it’s ok in a general sense and have it right for my taxes!

Hi there ~

There are definitely two payments there – one via echeck and one regular. I’m checking with the main office to see if one of them was for a subscription to one of the digital version of the magazine or something along those lines (though you can likely answer that question too!).

If it turns out to be a double payment, we’ll be happy to either extend your Premium subscription for an extra year or refund the extra payment (with our apologies!). If that’s the case, you may want to check your Paypal account too to see if you’ve somehow set up two recurring Premium memberships, but you can hold off on that until I hear back from the office.

OK–they have no reason for the second billing, so please let me know if you’d like a subscription extension or a refund.

When you have a couple of minutes, could you also check your Paypal account to see if you somehow have a double recurring subscription?

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Profile near the top of the page.
Click My money.
Click Update in the My preapproved payments section.

Hey Mod1! Thanks for getting back to me!

In the my money part of my profile of paypal - COTH is listed just once.

If it’s ok with your guys, I’m fine with extending it…that way it’s done for next year, right? One less thing to have on the To Do List! :lol: And less hassle to deal with any refunding! I know where the $ went, so it’s all good at my end!

Thanks so much for your understanding! You had a one-time and a recurring membership under your account, so who knows what happened! We extended your premium membership through May 2014 (eek!) with a bonus month for the hassle.

I also made a note in your profile in case anything gets goofy down the line.
