Ok. I feel stupid, but I have a question that is really annoying me. I have noticed on posts that instead of posting URL links to sites or photos, people just type words (that are blue before you click, and red when the cursor is hovering over it) that you can click on to get to the links. I think they are called hyperlinks. How…? Im not a tech-y person AT. ALL, as you can probably imagine from this post. I can’t figure this out for the life of me!
You either use the link button above the reply box, which is the button that has a picture of a world with a sideways figure eight looking thing, or you do it this way:
[Xurl=www.google.com]Google[/urlX]
Remove the red x’s to make it work. Broken down, you have:
left bracket
url=
your URL (the actual web address of where you want to send people)
right bracket
the words you want displayed for your link
left bracket
/url
right bracket
I find it easier and faster to just type the above, but if you’re not at all techy, it might be easier to use the button that does the same thing for you instead of remembering the syntax.

Yes, it’s called hot linking. Highlight the word you want the link to be on and then click the hyperlink button as noted above and fill in the blank.
