Posture Prep = Amazing!

Mine has worn quite a bit too. Part of it is because my horse loves it when I apply a lot of pressure. At first he seemed “meh” about it, but when I started adding more pressure, he loved it. For me, it’s become an arm workout

I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. He just wants to be “groomed” with it so hard.

Oh, I’ve got arms like Superman, as my dad would say. I don’t think I can dig “too hard” on my horse. But what the king wants, the king gets…

Mine is obsessed with it on his hamstrings and hindquarters. If he sees the posture prep, he literally turns his butt and moves his tail over out of the way.

He likes it soft on the belly and on the poll, but the butt and neck, he likes me to put my weight into it.

Theres a product for dogs that has been out for many years called a Zoom Groom that is exactly the same thing. The posture prep comes with instructions for horses though.

I have a zoom groom–probably a few of them, actually!–and the posture prep is different. It has shorter, flat “teeth” interior to the longer pointier teeth on the outside edge. You can see the teeth pretty clearly in the pic I posted a bit up the page.

The zoom groom has teeth all the same length and shape. It’s similar to a grooma. The grooma is denser and a little stiffer.

Since it’s the size and shape of the teeth that seems to be important about the posture prep, having them wear so quickly is a bummer.

I have both. To me, they seem the same (my ZG has different spike lengths). The instructions for horses are a value on their own -rather than just scrubbing in a circular manner the way someone might with a curry comb.

When your PP wears down, you can probably use it as a curry or…or give it to someone with a dog

Oh? What color do you have? I think I’ve had all of them at one point or another, and they’ve all always had teeth the same length. Every pic I can find online shows teeth that are the same length.

Although now I wonder if cutting down the middle teeth of a grooma would give the same effect as a posture prep, and last longer. Might have to play around with that…

Purple. I think I’ve had that thing since the mid-90s. It’s possible that they’ve changed the design.

The GROOMA is far from the same thing as the Posture Prep. Sorry ergonomically not the same for horse and human. That like saying rubber reins are the same as laced reins.:green_heart::horse::green_heart:

GROOMA is a different sane and thickness. You CANNOT use a GROOMA ONTHE LEGS AND FACE AND POINT OF HIP like you can the Posture Prep.

Oh good lord. You have to make that point twice? Yelling?

My second posture prep wore down the teeth in a month. I switched over to a grooma. My horses seem to prefer the density of the teeth. I find it easier to hold. And yes, I use it on legs and faces, gently, with zero ill effect.

But she’s not profiting from the Grooma.

Oh this is THE posture prep person?

It’s kind of gross that she stops in to yell about how another tool can’t possibly be used in the same way, but doesn’t address the multiple people who have found her curry to wear crazy fast

But yay, it does seem that this method can be used effectively with other “toothed” rubber curries and that opens SO many doors for people who might find the posture prep uncomfortable to hold. Hooray!

I used the GROOMA for the first THREE YEARS OF developing the CROSS FIBER system.

I ALWAYS SAY you can use any nice curry with longer teeth when applying the techniques If people prefer the Posture Prep tool and use it well that’s great for horse and human.

Horses and humans prefer my tool with any a variety of grooming patterns. Great for all.

I am the person who developed the system, patented it, trademark it and promote it on my own and share freely my videos on YOUTUBE. :green_heart::horse::green_heart:

Uh, wow. If this is how you represent your brand, that’s not a great look. Yeah, this is all still kinda gross.
