I’m interested in a cute thoroughbred near Detroit – I’d be buying off video and so a good PPE is a must for me. Would want back, feet, and hock X-rays at a minimum, and I’d be forwarding the films to my vet at home. Do you have any recommendations for a good PPE vet in that area?
I’m local to that area - most of the equine vets are out in Metamora/Oxford. Personally I’ve dealt with/recommend Blue Water Equine (Dr. Younk is excellent, though she spends parts of the winter in FL) nearby as well as Moore Equine Veterinary Services (Dr. Ahearne is my favorite here).
