I’m not from the NoVa area, and I’m looking for a vet to do a PPE there. Which vet or clinic do you recommend? I’ve also posted in the H/J and eventing forums to reach a broader audience. Thanks so much for your help!
I’ve used Piedmont Equine/Joe Davis for 25 years now. Very logical and thorough. Also an excellent facility to get good jogs, lunging, ride in and quality xrays.

I would like to third the recommendation for Joe Davis at Piedmont. He is an excellent horseman, a foxhunter, an eventer and a beautiful rider as well as a highly skilled vet.

Thanks, everyone. I did end up using Dr. Davis. Very, very pleased with his expertise and communication. Didn’t end up buying that horse, but having him do the exam confirms I need to have him do a PPE in the future for any horse even remotely near that area. Thanks again for all your feedback!
