Prascend pricing

So it looks like Prascend has gone up in price since the last time I bought it 5 months ago. I got it from Valley Vet in March, the 160 count came out to $264 when I made it an auto ship order.

Looking now it seems that the price is $328 from all the major websites except for one, California Pet Pharmacy. They are advertising a sale of $299. Wondering if anyone has ordered from California Pet before or knows of any other websites that are less expensive?

I would say besides looking at reviews online, if you can pay them with paypal you’re ensured to at least get your money back if you don’t get the product.

Set up price alerts on Valley Vet - it goes on sale frequently (around $278) and that when i buy it.

Our vets have been charging the same for a few years now.
They have a discount for six sheets, so that is what we get.

Another pharmacy to keep an eye on is Heartland Vet Supply. They often run promotions and their sitewide discount codes do apply to prescriptions. Right now they are priced at $328 with a 10% discount code available; I’ve seen 15% over Labor Day if you’re not in immediate need.

I’ve stopped using them recently because my vet has had trouble communicating with them about prescriptions. Each party swears they faxed their part and the other party never receives it. Your mileage may vary, and I’d had multiple orders with them before having this problem. I went back to FarmVet because they’ll text my vet for an authorization and that’s much easier for her. They will also price match and they have fast shipping and excellent customer service.

Thanks everyone. I went ahead and placed the Prascend in my cart on Valley vet but didn’t process the order and got an email a few hours later showing a discount if I ordered. Still more expensive than it was a few months ago but better than $328 anyway.

I just ordered from Valley Vet, begrudgingly with the $328 price, didn’t see the $40.05 loyalty discount until I received the email conformation. I’m not sure if I missed it or if it processed during the order, but I didn’t have to wait to get the discount.

I guess it has to do with how they are allowed to advertise the pricing, they can’t list it for any less than $328. It definitely is a bit confusing because they also don’t just show the discount on the order page either. My reorder on the auto ship ended up being $274, so only $10 more than March overall.
