Jingles & Prayers

Mark needs a miracle, keep him in your thoughts today.

Just read where it isn’t looking good for Mark. Just so terribly sorry. Seemed like a really good guy. Anyone know what happened? Was he riding and the horse flipped over? Not asking out of morbid curiosity, I just think there is always something to learn.

I am 50 this year and have a 5 year old that needs to be started. Fortunately, he should be a good guy like his brother. I also have a yearling who is wonderful but for sale and will stay that way. I think it’s time that I start letting others play with the youngsters, who can be so unpredictable.

It said on the FB they are all going to say goodbye…wow.

I don’t do young horses myself, any more… or the problem ones. But, he was doing something he loved to do.

very sad news

Mark passed this afternoon. We lost a great horseman today.

So very sorry to hear this. Prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

Oh no, that is terrible. So sorry for his family and all who knew him.

Very sad to hear this. I was honestly hoping for a miracle. (I realize it was improbable, though.)

So sad

So sad to hear this. I only heard of him through his book, but had commented to my daughter not long ago that I would love to audit one of his clinics if I ever had the opportunity.

Godspeed Mr. Russell!

I did not know Mr. Russell, but can empathize with his family for experiencing this sudden loss. It has to be devastating.

A very sad day. Mark was the first trainer to work with my young horse 11 years ago. He was a wonderful, kind horseman that always had the horses best interest at heart. He will be missed.

Very sad to hear. The testimonial on the FB page is both heart-wrenching and so inspiring. Godspeed.

What a devastating loss. My condolences to his family. :frowning:

Thanks for all the kind words. We were one of his clinic hosts, he was supposed to be here next month.

Every horse and human he worked with came away better, Mark will be missed deeply.
