Since she’s been mentioned look at Ami MacHugh’s stallions she just acquired a new stallion this last fall (stunning bay) plus already has 6 stallions
http://jackassmtranch.com jackass mountain ranch.
Her web sites getting a bit out of date but she has photos of the new stallion on her FaceBook page. Her breeding program is really well done she just needs to promote herself a bit more.
Saw her ride one of her home bred young stallions in an Ann Gibbons clinic last fall he was wonderful and Ann G was impressed she was breeding this quality of PRE in the US.
Have a look at this farm: http://www.sobolee.com/etalon_PRE.html
Ilios is a seasonned GP PRE stallion and the black is newer to their barn but will probably go the same route with Cindy, the rider of Ilios. Website is in french only, but don’t hesitate to contact them, they are very nice people.
Good luck!
There is a Do Retiro stallion in the US:

We have two mares by Botijo M: one out of a TB mare who has potential for at least PSG, and my mother has a driving horse out of a Friesian mare. We also own his maternal half sister (full PRE), so you can tell I’m a little biased. I saw him a number of times over the years while he was in Ontario at Aspera Terrent Farm.
He is in California and has competed Grand Prix.
This is a very nice young stallion in Texas. He was 16:3hh last I checked.

What about Espiritu?

This guy is REALLY amazing but I’m not sure he’s proven anything in the breeding shed yet. Still, he is by Gaucho III himself and I might give him a go with my Dutch mare at some point.
Wanted to add this guy he is stunning and a lovely mover.
Habanero XLI. He’s black too…

or there other Black stallion Jocoso LVIII he is young and probable hasent really proven himself yet. I think they both have good type and movement for dressage.

Awwww klickitat! I worked at symphony farms for a little while! Loved him and rociero. Such sweet boys! Also loved devoto, but I believe he was gelded after he sold. The link provided above for klick didn’t work for me, FYI
The link for Klickitat didn’t work for me either but I just googled JM Dressage and found him that way.

He looks very nice!
There are several nice stallions out there, but I wouldn’t cross them with a WB. TB, sure, but not a WB.
Your best chance for a nice foal is to another nice WB or TB if you must go outside of WB.
Actually, I’d even cross w/an Arab before I did a Baroque breed.
I definitely considered crossing my AQHA with a PRE, but decided against. Maybe someday…
One of the nicer QH crosses I’ve ever seen and met in person was with a PRE that mare was gorgeous nice mover and temperament was best described as the perfect packer. When done right it’s a winner from what I’ve seen. FWTW.
Well, I’m expecting my first foal this spring from an experienced broody I got to ‘hold my hand’ through my first breeding. I didn’t think I could handle trying to breed my maiden mare (AQHA) for my first time! That, and I have had her since she was a yearling and is my ‘husband horse’ a total packer. The thought of possibly losing her to foaling (worst case scenario of course) was more risk than I could take. But I do love the cross. Maybe someday. Right time right horse
Leslie Reid’s 8-year-old Pura Raza Espanola stallion Kobal
http://lesliereid.net/LatestNews/
Kobal was ridden in the Charlotte Dujardin symposium she loved him.

(But it was Leslie Reid’s 8-year-old Pura Raza Espanola stallion Kobal who seemed to make the biggest impression—on Dujardin and the audience. After riding him herself, Dujardin said she was ready to put him in her suitcase and take him back to England. “He leaves tomorrow,” she joked to Reid.)

I read the article and Charlotte’s comments; he is very lovely. I didn’t notice any mention about Leslie offering him at stud though…
I believe you are correct I don’t think he is offered at stud. I just couldn’t think of any place else to post the info at the moment just thought it was fun and interesting related to PRE’ s.
Great article and Kobal is indeed very lovely. Hopefully she’ll offer him at stud at some point. Would be a shame not to.
