Curious, as they have always been a great resource for me.
Based on my experiences with them, pricing is more than reasonable.
Plus: they’d have no dog in the fight & PPE would be unbiased.
Conley and Koontz Equine Hospital may go that far south? They are in Columbia City. I would recommend giving them a call. They have been our regular vets for several years now and we’ve been very happy with them. They have multiple vets on staff so getting an appointment is usually pretty easy.

Glad you found a fix.
But…
As a teaching college I doubt there would be any conflict with your PPE.
Your Seller might use Perdue exclusively & even request a certain vet on staff, but students could easily do a PPE. Overseen by a resident vet, but hardly the same as a vet in private practice.
