I’m running IE 9.0.11
I’m not sure whether my problem is due to the upgrade or to something esle, but I’m not even seeing the option to attach a picture to my post and I renewed my subscription back in October, so I know it’s current.
Ghazzu, I’m not even seeing you as a premium member.

She’s been able to post a pic and has a “premium member” tag under the “advanced” designation.
I see your custom title above, but you’re not listed as a premium member underneath it.
Maybe PM the mods about your status?
I can’t even view pics others have apparantly attached…I’m still seeing the red x
Can one or two of you on IE having trouble viewing pictures please post a link of a thread where you’re having trouble seeing the pics? Developers are trying to troubleshoot.
Thanks!

I just upgraded to IE8 and can’t see any pics posted by premium members or my own. Just a big X box. It’s any picture posted on the forum vs linked from webshots/facebook, etc.
Here’s one that doesn’t work for me, Mod 1:

It’s a red x in IE 9.0.8122.16421.
Works fine for me in Firefox and Chrome.
This one is SUPER reproducable for me. Are your tech guys really having a hard time seeing it?
I am stilling seeing the red X’s on all the attachments too.
I only see red X’s also on any post from a premium member who has uploaded photos.
I just re-sent them a link to this thread with the example thread provided. Yes, apparently they’re having trouble reproducing the issue.
We’re sorry for the continued inconvenience!
Mod 1
Same issue with IE 10 for Windows 7, although the x is black.
Update from the developers: the issue is with IE8 and IE9 not allowing Javascript (this is the default configuration for IE8/IE9). The new site uses Javascript to display the thumbnails and the larger image when you click on the thumbnail. Something about the default IE8/IE9 configuration is stopping this from working… we’re not exactly sure what is causing this issue, but as soon as we figure it out we’ll provide you with the instructions for users (or if we can determine some other work-around on the site).
Thanks for your patience!

This problem was reported to be fixed over the weekend, so those who were having trouble, please let me know how things look for you.
Thanks so much for your patience!

I am able to see the thumb nails now. Thank you so much for working out the kinks
Nope. Still broken in IE 10. At least the Windows 7 version of the browser. I have all scripting enabled.
I only downloaded IE 10 to help troubleshoot and I don’t use it as my regular browser, and you’re likely only going to get complaints from Windows 8 users, I suppose.
(IE 8 or 9 users–don’t upgrade to 10 until this issue is solved It doesn’t look like it’s a terribly significant upgrade.)
