How much is a Premium Membership? And would it allow me to blog here?
The Premium membership costs $20/year and allows users to upload pictures directly to their posts, obtain one free forum classified ad/year, create a custom user subtitle and post items in our Event Annoucements forum.

In terms of blogging, the only official blogs The Chronicle runs are those on the main site, and those bloggers are selected by the editorial staff. If you’re interested in blogging for the magazine, you can contact the main office here.
If you’re just interested in sharing your day-to-day equine adventures with other users, as long as you’re not promoting a business or horses for sale, etc., you’re welcome to post in the main forums – or you can check out our social networking site, Chronicle of My Horse, which is formatted similarly to a site like Facebook.

Yes, that explains things well. I think I’ll have to spring for the Premium Membership if it allows me to post pics without having to use photobucket. A lineolated parakeet forum I’m on is like that and I post some really nice photos there (and everybody loves pics LOL) and it’s so easy cause I can just upload them from my computer.
As for blogging, I’ll check out the link you gave me here. I doubt that I’d qualify to post on anything official, though on another forum I had the admin nearly accuse me of being a professional writer (he was one) LOL.
