Is there no way to pay the $20 with a credit card?

Hi redhorse ~

You can also pay via credit card with the mail-in form found on the above thread. Hereā€™s a direct link to the form. Iā€™ve also clarified the wording in that post so that payment option is more apparent.

Thanks for your interest!

Lapsed?

it appears that my premium status has lapsed (I tried to post an attachment and it didnā€™t let me, plus it no longer says ā€œPremium Memeberā€ under my name.

But I never got a notice to renew.

Do I just treat it like a ā€œnewā€ upgrade to Premiun status? Or is there a different procedure for renewals?

Hi Janet ~

Iā€™m actually not sure what type of/when notifications are sent out re: renewing! But yes, your membership expired earlier this month, and you can renew it as you would purchase a new membership.

Thereā€™s also the option of setting up a recurring subscription, which will automatically renew each year via your Paypal account.

Thanks so much for your continued support of the forums.

Iā€™m in sort of the same situation as Janet (noticed that the Premium Member designation had disappeared from under my name after trying to post an attachment recently), but I have a recurring membership and my credit card bill shows a payment to COTH via PayPal on April 29, 2010

Hi Peggy ~

Found your payment! Iā€™m not sure why your account wasnā€™t automatically updatedā€“thereā€™s a recurring subscription and a regular one that was expired associated with your account, so maybe it was something goofy with that.

At any rate, we just reactivated your Premium status through July 30, 2011 (a couple of bonus weeks for your trouble!).

Thanks so much for your continued support of the Forums!

Thanks Mod 1!

There was some sort of weirdness with my Premium status a few years back when maybe I paid twice or something and Erin gave me two years of credit. Maybe the dual subscriptions resulted from that.

Sure thing!

I bet it was something along those lines, and Iā€™m having trouble getting rid of one of the subscriptions, so if you have the same trouble next year if you decide to so generously support the Forums again , just give another holler!
