I’ve been tossing around the idea of getting something more comfortable than my close contact for trail riding. Mare is very TBish, and sensitive about saddle fit… she goes well in a Prestige jump or dressage saddle - something about the shape of the tree works well for her.
Anyone have any experience with their “trekking” saddles"? Are they even available in NA?
I believe the trackking saddles are for a certain breed of horses, i’m to lazy to look it up but i remember being disappointed as otherwise it might have worked for me……
The Prestige trekker saddles are available in only one tree and seat size. The seat is separate and elevated from the panels… if you’re used to close contact, this is the very opposite. 
They’re more suited to a low-to-no wither, round-barrel and back shape.
But the Prestige Explorer 2 is a very nice trail saddle and suitable for the TB type build. Not stocked in the US, but available through any Prestige dealer.
