Knixwear also has a leakproof Dream Short that may suit your needs. They are a little shorter than the thigh saver ones previously mentioned and would also have the benefit of not needing a pad. I haven’t tried them myself but the ratings are really good, they’re just a little pricey.

I bought bike shorts for underneath my work skirts ages ago and also enjoy them for riding, especially under my tights and white breeches. They absolutely saved me one day when I unthinkingly wore leggings to the barn on hay day.
