My first time in ordering from this place instead of my vet but the price was much less. 180 of the 57mg tabs of Equioxx from my vet is $222. 60 tabs 227mg (so 240 doses of the 57 mg) from 1800Petmeds is $182, free shipping. Is this what others are paying? The 1800petmeds is a Merial product as is my vets.
I just ordered 60 tablets of the 227mg from Allivet for ~$157. And if you sign up for their emails you’ll get a $5 coupon. They also do some sort of point system for purchases so maybe I’ll get discount at some point.

When I clicked on it, it was $176 for 60 of the 227mg tabs. Still cheaper.
My vet’s office affirmatively recommended ordering it elsewhere due to price. Pretty sure Allivet was where I ordered from for my lease horse also.

$162.95 for 60, free shipping.
I thought they were cracking down on prescribing the 227 to horses? I’ve only been able to get my vets to write for the 57mg for the last few years.
Are those of you getting it using a vet that is equine-only?
Dutchmare you are right… legally vets aren’t supposed to prescribe Previcox (of any size) if Equioxx is available. Which only has comes in 57 mg.
The 227 mg is to be quartered. Yes, it is a high end equine only practice.
I know, and my vet used to write for that and it was super cheap. Now they say they cannot write for anything other than the 57mg (this time I was able to get the 57mg Previcox instead of Equiox, which was a little cheaper). Just curious, sounds like some are still willing/able to do it for whatever reason and some are not.
What your saying is , dose aside, vets are not supposed to be writing the dog version (Previcox) for anything other than a dog. We had an elderly cat (lived to be 21) who was on off label use dog meds. I had kinda forgotten the whoopla over Previcox/Equiox prescribing.
Some vets that had been only prescribing Equioxx for horses started prescribing the Previcox when supplies of Equioxx were limited
