print your own tickets from Ticketmaster?

Did anyone else do their tickets this way? I am a little nervous I will get there and they are no good!

I printed my own, but I’m nervous about the same thing!

I’ve done that multiple times for traveling Broadway musicals and such, and never had a problem.

(Though I do love how they charge you for the privilege of doing it yourself!)

I haven’t printed any, but my shipped tickets from Ticketmaster look printed on somebody’s printer. No bells, whistles, or frills at all.

I still have my Atlanta 1996 tickets. They were gorgeous. Neatly designed.

Not that it makes a bit of difference as long as the ticket gets you through the gate, but I was surprised at how almost “homemade” the official shipped tickets look. I’ll be buying a few more tickets this weekend and printing those, and I’ll compare to my shipped tickets.

thanks, that makes me feel better.

They’ll be fine as long as you bought them from TM yourself. The only potential worry is if you bought them off ebay or Stubhub and you receive home-printed tickets, because a seller could sell the same ones over and over. (I’ve bought home-printed tickets this way and never had a problem myself, but I know a couple of others who have had problems so beware).

FYI: any time you buy tickets of any kind from TM and are traveling out of town to the venue, it’s worthwhile to print your order email and stick it in your bag because they are usually pretty good about replacing lost tickets, etc. if you can get a live human on the phone and prove you bought them.

I also did the “print your own” thing on TM because I was so worried that I’d get the tickets mailed to me and I’d lose them! This way, you can reprint them if you lose them.

I bought Fri dressage freestyle from stubhub on Tuesday. Received FedEx pack yesterday and only thing in it is a receipt from Ticketmaster. So I thought I will probably have to print my own tickets, but there are no instructions, no website, no secret code… soo I called StubHub. Yep, seller was suppose to send tickets… StubHub Fan Protection will guarantee tickets or replace within 48 hours… so we’ll see.

I just printed mine! Now it seems real. Wow. I bought them a year ago. I also printed the email confirmation and the reciept - which was an option on the website. I did not use color, figuring the bar code is what they are interested in, and that’s b&w.

Zoiks! We’re going to Kentucky!
