There are some nice-looking horses in that group.

I saw and enjoyed the tv show - it is not only the horses who benefit. The inmates learn patience, connection and
self control and can often find work in the outside with the skills taught.

Wow, ‘Big Blue’ is stunning, would be happy to have him in my barn!

Not sure if this is the same program, but here’s a short film about prisoners training horses in Arizona: https://vimeo.com/266883659 “The Wild Inside”

Thanks for sharing that film, Wendy. The Arizona program is a lot like the Nevada one. Let’s hope the use these sorts of programs expand; a huge reduction in returning prisoners is noted in the film.

There’s a bunch of very nice looking horses in that pack. Personal favorites: Big Blue, Frijolito, Cash and Coolio. Most of them appear to have some draft in them. The picture of Fozzy was interesting - he looks like those pictures of old-time cavalry horses. I’ll bet he has some Morgan or Saddlebred in him. I’d be delighted to have any of them in my barn.
