I don’t think there is anyway someone can find out who you are if you don’t give your info, also someone would have to become a register user to look at profile, so unless they know that you are on here, the answer is NO.
The short answer is yes. The long answer involves technobabble. No one is 100% anonymous on the internet, but that doesn’t mean that everyone can tell who you are!
Visitors to the site can do sleuthing of their own to piece together information about a user given the information they choose to make public about themselves via their posts or profiles, which is why we caution posters to be concious of the information they provide publicly.
The site’s administrators also have access to each user’s account information, regardless of the public privacy settings on an account, as well as access to the IP addresses associated with an account. We may access that information in the course of moderating the forums for administrative purposes.
Per our Terms of Service, we will comply with requests from the authorities for such information; however, we do not make it available to private parties.
