Considering that most of the reputable feed brands aren’t available here because this is “blue seal territory” I’m actually glad to see a decent high end brand be available. We don’t have Legends, Seminole, Hallway, Macauley, etc here. Blue Seal, Poulin, Nutrena, and if you’re really lucky, Triple Crown are the only choices.

ProElite is specific to Southern States (as is Legends), so if there’s no SS around, you can’t get those.

Poulin is a excellent brand, as is BS, though not all of their feeds are suitable for a lot of horses. Since you can get Poulin, I assume you’re in the NE somewhere so no, Seminole wouldn’t be there either.

Which is why I put it in quotes. Most of us are well educated about nutrition, apparently OP is not.

Cargill DOES NOT own Purina in the U.S. They own the Purina name everywhere but the U.S.

Land O Lakes owns Purina and they currently have the contract to manufacture Triple Crown, as well as Kent/ Blue Seal with a contract to manufacture Triple Crown.
