Pro Force fly Spray vs Ultrashield.

Anyone tried Pro Force? The ingredients in both of these is similar, but not the same. wondering if anyone has compared the 2. i have been using Ultrashield for years, and you know… Nothing works great. This is the best i have found.

There was a long and useful thread on fly sprays last summer.

Basically there is only one class of chemical flyspray ingredients, permethrins and pyrathins, which are related. Both have short half lives, so the effectiveness of a given flyspray depends on the percentage of active ingredient plus whether the carrier extends the life of the active ingredient at all.

The takeaway from that thread was go for higher percentages of permethtin/pyrathins, and look for oil based carriers that help stabilize those ingredients.

But nothing works in all situations, and flies may develop tolerances to fly sprays.

Yes, i get that. I’m asking those who have tried both products if they saw any difference.

Never had much faith in any - but Eco Vet - to me - seems the best by far. Take no notice of complaints about smell, coughing, etc. - apply according to directions and stay out of the way of the breeze.

I’ll second the Eco-Vet. I ordered to just try it since so many here raved about it and was not disappointed.

I’ve used Endure for years and sometimes even switch that up but Eco-Vet is better than all of them.
