I bought a used Devoucoux, from Devoucoux on January 8th. One of their reps did the sale. I received an invoice promptly and was told the saddle could take two weeks to arrive (per the rep). I got a tracking number, but all I get when I go to UPS is “Label Created.” So it’s been two weeks and no shipment. I’ve been in touch with the rep, but she hasn’t been able to get an answer. I found a number on the invoice and called it this morning, but the person who answered just took my information. If I don’t get an answer or a saddle very soon, what should I do? It’s a lot of money to just be out in Devoucoux’s account without anything to show for it.
I know you are going through a saga at getting a saddle. I would hound them every day for a while to get the answer. from a real person not an answering service. If the rep is gettin no satisfaction, that is a bad sign
if nothing happens by mid next week. I would tell them that you are stopping payment on the order for non-delivery or service
I would call the Devoucoux main office (on the East Coast, I can’t remember exactly where). I’ve had Devoucoux saddles for about 10 years and always went directly to them with any issues. I know others have not had great customer service from Devoucoux, but the main office has always resolved everything satisfactorily for me.
This part means that they’ve input the info into the UPS system to create and print the shipping label, but the package hasn’t been picked up by UPS (otherwise there’d be another scan into the system).
Maybe the box with your saddle got put to the side and missed for pickup by UPS?
