All of a sudden I’m not getting notification by e-mail when I start a new thread or post to someone else’s thread. I’ve got the regular old instant notification choice checked, as always, haven’t changed anything, but I’m not getting the notifications.
What can be done?

We’ve been having trouble with Comcast and some other providers blocking our system’s automated messages, but it doesn’t look like your email address would be affected.
Have you checked your spam folder to see if they’re being redirected into there? Perhaps we’ve been marked as an unsafe sender…

Great! If they made it into your spam folder, then you shouldn’t have to change your email address. Comcast, for example, doesn’t even let them reach the user–the messages all get bounced back to us.
What you may have to play around with is the settings on your email program. For some reason, the messages are being designated as spam as they are downloaded to your inbox and are then shuttled to your spam folder.
I’m not sure what program you’re using to read your messages, but for Yahoo, for example, you should be able to mark a message as “not spam,” which will treat future similar messages the same way.
